MetaverseJobs.social is a virtual staffing and wage scheduling platform owned and operated by Virtual World Search Inc. We focus on job placement, scheduling, and virtual currency payroll for Second Life® and compatible metaverse communities.

MetaverseJobs.social is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Linden Lab. Second Life and Linden Lab are registered trademarks of Linden Research, Inc.

🧾2. Scope of the service

MetaverseJobs.social provides tools that allow you to:

  • Post and manage virtual job listings for clubs, stores, venues, development, fashion, and support roles.
  • Collect, review, and track applications from staff and talent.
  • Schedule shifts and projects across multiple venues and employers.
  • Pre-fund and track virtual currency wages using Linden Dollars (L$) or Game Tokens (GTs).
  • Log and view payout history related to completed shifts and projects.

We operate as a platform and facilitation tool. We are not a bank, not a money transmitter, and not an employer of record for your in-world jobs.

👤3. Accounts & eligibility

To use MetaverseJobs.social, you agree that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • You are a real person acting on behalf of yourself or a legitimate business/venue.
  • You will provide accurate, current information for your profile and contact details.
  • You are responsible for any activity under your account, including staff management and job postings.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable Second Life or platform rules.

🏢4. Employer & agency obligations

As an employer, agency, or venue operator, you agree that you will:

  • Only post jobs that are genuine, lawful within the virtual world’s policies, and clearly described.
  • Set clear expectations for schedule, duties, and wages for each role.
  • Pre-fund wages using L$ or GTs where required by the platform’s tools.
  • Confirm shift completion honestly and in good faith.
  • Handle disputes with staff promptly and professionally.

You remain solely responsible for any real-world employment or contractor relationships you may establish. MetaverseJobs.social does not act as your legal employer, HR department, or payroll tax authority.

🎧5. Staff & talent responsibilities

As staff or talent using MetaverseJobs.social, you agree that you will:

  • Provide truthful information about your skills, experience, and availability.
  • Show up for shifts and projects you have accepted, or give reasonable notice if you cannot attend.
  • Use the platform tools honestly when marking attendance or completion of work.
  • Respect venue rules, community standards, and Second Life or other world Terms of Service.

Your relationship with each employer is independent. We provide scheduling and logging tools only and are not responsible for how employers treat staff in-world.

💰6. L$ and Game Tokens (GTs)

MetaverseJobs.social supports virtual currency flows using L$ and an integrated Game Tokens (GTs) system. By using these features, you agree that:

  • All payments facilitated through the platform are for virtual wages and rewards only.
  • Game Tokens (GTs) are a closed-loop virtual reward asset. GTs hold no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed for real-world currency.
  • We do not offer interest, investment products, loans, or banking services of any kind, and we do not guarantee the future value of any virtual currency.
  • Employers remain responsible for providing L$ funding and for any real-world tax or reporting obligations associated with their spending.

🎰7. Compliance with Second Life & platform rules

The platform is designed to respect Linden Lab’s rules and similar metaverse policies, including but not limited to:

  • No in-world banking systems, interest-bearing deposits, or “investment” schemes.
  • No gambling or games of chance where outcomes determine L$ or GT payouts.
  • No misleading representation of MetaverseJobs.social as an official Second Life or Linden Lab service.

If we believe any job, payment flow, or use of the platform violates these policies, we may suspend related features or accounts to protect the ecosystem.

🚫8. Prohibited uses

You may not use MetaverseJobs.social to:

  • Engage in fraud, scams, or deceptive job postings.
  • Promote hate, harassment, or content that violates platform community standards.
  • Run unlawful financial schemes, money transmission, or unlicensed services.
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or virtual world Terms of Service.

📚9. Intellectual property

The MetaverseJobs.social brand, logo, site design, and platform features are owned by Virtual World Search Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain any rights you hold to your own content (job descriptions, profiles, branding), but grant MetaverseJobs.social a non-exclusive license to host and display that content as part of running the service.

⚠️10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

MetaverseJobs.social is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

Virtual World Search Inc. is not responsible for:

  • Any agreements or disputes between employers and staff.
  • Loss of virtual currency due to actions of employers or external platforms.
  • Downtime or interruptions caused by external systems such as Second Life or payment providers.

To the extent permitted by law, any liability we do have shall be limited to the amount you have paid us in service fees (if any) in the 3 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will adjust the “Last updated” date at the bottom of this page and may notify you through the platform.

Your continued use of MetaverseJobs.social after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
